New Era x Mudcats

The Mudcats are the minor league MLB team for the Carolina states. I did not know about this team before seeing the hat, but it stuck out to me as soon as I saw it scrolling. There is something about Minor League team logos that sets themselves apart from Major League teams. The tie-dye cap with the glow in the dark makes this hat a must along with its cheap price set at only $29.99. The side patch is probably one of my favorite parts of the hat because of the way that the glow outlines “Carolina” so cleanly. This hat is a great example of how hat designers are constantly finding new and creative ways to represent people’s favorite sports teams regardless of their competition level.

Favorite Hat

This is a hat that holds a special place in my heart. I have had this hat since elementary school and it has been all over the world with me. From California to Greece, this hat holds so many different memories when I look at it. One of my most worn hats and I think it is pretty obvious, but I love the very rusty and old look that the white cap brings with the pinstripes all over. You don’t really see pinstriped hats anymore and I hope they make a comeback soon!

David Wright

Baseball caps never go out of style and are easy to wear. Beyond baseball, beyond sports, I really do think sports caps are for everyone.

David Wright was the third basemen for the New York Mets and a seven-time All-star, two-time Golden Glove winner, and a two-time Silver Slugger winner. This quote speaks to me because it is exactly the same way that I feel. It is a great way to sum up my own perspective about sports caps.
